Mother of Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, has been abducted.
Mrs Seriya Raji, was abducted by gunmen on Monday a few minutes after she observed her evening (Ishai) prayer in a mosque in a residence located at Inese/Ovakere new layout in Nagazi community in Adavi local government area of the state.
A source in the area told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that the abductors who were masked entered the residence through the mosque and whisked her away to an unknown location.
The spokesperson of the state Police Command, William Aya, is yet to issue an official statement on the development.
