Gunmen on Sunday abducted two traditional rulers in Imo State, and set ablaze their palaces and vehicles.
The monarchs were abducted at about 1am on Sunday, according to a sources in the communities.
The traditional rulers are Acho Ndukwe of Amagu Ihube and Paul Ogbu of Ihitte Ihube, both in the Okigwe local government area of the state.
Security sources said the hoodlums, who came with Hilux vehicles, also abducted the youth leader of Umulolo Okigwe.
The incident came three days after gunmen killed and dumped, at the market square, the body body of traditional ruler of Atta kingdom in the Njaba local government area of the state, Edwin Azike.
Azike was abducted on Thursday in his palace.
