Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday ordered the shutdown of Bab Fafunwa Millennium School, Ojodu, popularly known as Ojodu Grammar School.
The school will be closed until January 2022.
This followed the accident that occurred at about 2:15 pm on Tuesday, which led to the death of many students.
A DAF truck rammed into a crowd of students, killing many students and injuring others, although the state Police command said only two students died in the crash.
Later angry students attempted to set ablaze Ojodu Police station for allegedly shielding the driver of the ill-fated truck.
