All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared Ekiti State local government councils poll.
Ekiti has 16 Local Government Areas and the 19 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
It also won 176 out of the 177 councilorship seats declared.
The Chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission, Justice Jide Aladejana, announced the result on Sunday in Ado-Ekiti.
The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had boycotted the election, citing the inability of the APC- led administration in the state to conduct a free and fair poll.
However, Action Alliance (AA), African Democratic Congress (ADC), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), All Progressives Congress(APC), National Rescue Movement(NRM), and Young Progressives Party (YPP) participated in the election.
