Members of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have killed a Dangote trailer driver, Saidu Alhassan along with two of his assistants, Halliru Mallam and Danjuma Isari, in Orsu local government area of Imo State.
A source told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that the victims were ordered out of the vehicle before they were shot and their bodies set ablaze.
He said the incident happened on Wednesday when the drivers were travelling back to their base at Obajana, Kogi State, after off-loading cement at Dangote Cement Depot in Orlu.
The bodies of the victims were discovered on Thursday near the trailer and later evacuated to Obajana.
