Any universities and polytechnics present unqualified graduates for national service, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brig.-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, has said.
He said this at the opening ceremony of the 2021 Batch ‘C’ Pre-Mobilisation Workshop, on Thursday.
He said any corps-producing institutions involved in any fraudulent practice would be sanctioned.
Shuaibu, however, urged all stakeholders in the mobilisation process should display a sense of integrity in the discharge of their duties.
He said the on-going reforms in the mobilisation process and other aspects of the NYSC operations were in line with our quest to sustain this relevance, adding that the corp had recorded tremendous improvement in data integrity.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Muhammad Bello, who was represented by the Acting Secretary, FCT Social Development Secretariat, Kelvin Ike, said his administration would support the implementation of the NYSC’s programmes.
