Thirty people have been killed in bandits attack on Kachiwe and adjourning villages in Sarkin Pawa in Munya local government area of Niger State.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE and gathered that the villages were attacked through Sarkin Pawa which shares boundary with Kaduna State.
Secretary to the Niger State Government, Ahmed Matane, confirmed the attack, but did not give actual number of those who died from the attack.
But a security source told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that over 30 villagers were killed in the attack that happened on Thursday.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Monday Kuryas, also confirmed the attack.
He said investigation has commenced to enable them track down the perpetrators of the criminal act, adding that a team of policemen have been despatch to the area to protect Sarkin Pawa.
