‘My Village People’, a comedy movie, has recorded a major milestone after crossing the N100 million mark in box office.
The Niyi Akinmolayan’s hit comedy is officially the 17th Nollywood title to gross over N100 million.
The film made the record after 12 weeks in box office.
The hit comedy was Produced by Kountry Kulture Network, FilmOne Entertainment and TMPL Motion pictures.
‘My Village People’ is a story of a young prince who finds himself in a bizarre love triangle with the marine world and a coven of witches as a result of his reckless lifestyle.
The film also stars Bovi, Osuofia, Venita Akpofure, Sophie Alakija, Theresa Edem, Ada Ameh, Binta Ayo-Mogaji, Rachel Oniga, Charles Inojie, Venita Akpofure, Zubby Michael, Amaechi Muonagor, Mimi Onalaja, Akah Nnani among others.
The comedy is produced by Matilda Sola, Winnie Okpapi, Mimidoo (Achineku) Bartels and co-executive produced by Moses Babatope and Idris Olorunnimbe.
