After a goalless first half, Chelsea switch up the gear in the second half to beat Tottenham 3-0.
Both teams had no or little chances in the first half, but Son and Mount both squandered clear cut chances for either side.
However, Chelsea changed the game after the break. First, Silva firmly headed in Alonso’s corner to start the half to give Chelsea the lead.
Then, Kante’s 25-yard strike was deflected by Dier to confuse Lloris, before rolling in off the post to double the lead.
After wasting chances, Rudiger made it three when he swept in Werner’s cut-back.
With this result, Chelsea go top of the table level on points with Manchester United, who won West Ham 2-1 earlier.
