Henceforth anybody without a face mask covering his/her nose and mouth will be denied entry to markets, gardens, restaurants and motor parks in Nigeria.
This is part of the Coronavirus Disease Health Protection 2021 regulation signed by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, in Abuja, to curtail further spread of coronavirus in the country.
The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, and Secretary to the Government of the Federal, Boss Mustapha, who disclosed this in Abuja on Wednesday.
Part one of the regulation, which deals with restrictions on gatherings, stipulates that at all gatherings, a physical distance of at least two metres shall be maintained at all times between persons.
