The former Kano state governor and leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has revealed that 2023 general elections is going to be unique, and as such their is a need for unity among his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members as well as his followers nationwide.
The former Nigeria’s defense minister and special Envoy to United Nations on Darfur and Somalia made this known while addressing members of his party from Dawakin Tofa, Bichi, Tsanyawa and Kunchi as part of the ongoing stakeholders meetings in Kano.
“I want you to get ready for the battle ahead, 2023 is going to be unique, its uniqueness make it so important that we must be united to fight the enemies of Kano, ” Kwankwaso said.
He explained that the unity of his followers has always been the secret to the success recorded in the previous elections.
“We have enough enemies to fight as members of the opposition, we shall remain one solid force to recon with, our most common enemies are those who destroy the education and healthcare systems in Kano, ” he concluded.
Kwankwaso also lamented that Kano is witnessing the worst pattern of leadership in the hands of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who he accuses of squandering the commonwealth of the state.
