Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has dissolved the state executive council.
A statement by Ali Abare, the Special Assistant to the governor, said the dissolution was announced at a special executive council meeting, which was held at the Government House, on Monday.
The governor equally announced the dissolution of his special advisers, senior special assistants, except for those manning humanitarian services and sustainable development goals.
The governor used the opportunity to thank the appointees for their commitment and services rendered to the administration, stressing that his administration will continue to count on their support in the future.
Responding on behalf of the former appointees, Professor Abdukarim Abubakar, who until now was the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, thanked the governor for giving them the opportunity to serve the state and his administration.
