The Kaduna – Kano standard gauge railway will be completed in 18 months, the China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCEC) has said.
Speaking at the construction site, situated at Zawachiki Kumbotso Local Council of Kano, Personnel Manager of CCECC, Muhammad Kabir, said the project would be ready before the scheduled time.
He said workers have since been mobilised to the various sites of the project immediately after President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated it in July.
“We have already mobilised our staff from Ibadan to Kano and Kaduna to ensure the timely completion of the project,” he said.
