President Muhammadu Buhari has sent four ministers and his chief of staff to Kano ahead of Friday’s wedding of his son, Yusuf to Zahra, daughter of Emir of Bichi Nasiru Ado Bayero.
The wedding is scheduled in Bichi, the headquarters of Bichi emirate in Kano state.
A statement by presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu, who is also part of the delegation, said Chief of Staff Professor Ibrahim Gambari would lead the delegation.
Other members of the Presidential delegation are Ministers of Defence, Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi (rtd): Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono; Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika: and Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Hussein Adamu as well as the Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media and Publicity), Garba Shehu.
The delegation will stay back after the wedding on Friday to represent the President at the coronation of the Emir at Bichi the following day, Saturday.
