The abductors of 15 students and members of staff of Zamfara State College of Agriculture and Animal Science in Bakura local government area have demanded N350 million ransom.
Bandits abducted the students and a teacher, alongside his wife and two children, from the college Sunday night.
The College Provost Habibu Mainasara told journalists on Tuesday, that the bandits had contacted him on phone and demanded N305 million to set free their captives.
He said the kidnappers allowed him to speak with each of the victims in captivity, adding that the victims told him that they were hale and hearty.
The bandits had, during the invasion of the school, killed two security guards and one policeman.
