President Muhammadu on Tuesday sacked the service chiefs.
Below are the new service chiefs announced by the president:
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS): Major General Lucky Irabor
He hails from Delta State.
He was the Commander Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Minna, Niger State; Defence Chief of Training and Operations (DCTOPs); Chief of Training and Operations (Army); Theater Commander Operation Lafiya Dole, Maiduguri, Borno State.
Chief of Army Staff: Major General Ibrahim Attahiru
He hails from Kaduna State.
He was General Officer Commanding (G0C) 82 Division, Enugu; Theater Commander Operation Lafiya Dole, Maiduguri.
Chief of the Air Staff: Air Vice Marshall Isiaka Amao
He hails from Osun State.
He was Chief of Policy and Plans (COPP) Nigerian Air Force; Chief of Training and Operations (NAF); and Air Officer Commanding Tactical Command, Makurdi, Benue State.
Chief of Naval Staff: Rear Admiral AZ Gambo
He hails from Kano State.
He was Director of Procurement at the Defence Space Administration; Director of Search and Rescue Defence Headquarters; Chief Staff Officer, Naval Training Command.
He was Air Component Commander of Operation Zaman Lafiya/ Lafiya Dole (North East operation) and Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command (TAC).
