The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has declared dusk-to-dawn curfew in 12 local government areas of the Imo West Senatorial District.
This is coming after some thugs allegedly killed four soldiers and set some houses in Orlu community on fire, on Monday.
The governor in a statement on Monday also directed security agencies to apprehend the culprits.
“I am totally appalled by this sad report which appears to paint a picture of a near breakdown of law and order in the Orlu area. The government condemns in its entirety this act of extreme hooliganism and brigandage,” he said.
