The chairman All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Caretaker Committee, Mai Mala Buni, has called for a free and fair exercise as the party commences its congress on Saturday.
The chairman also enjoined members and stakeholders to ensure peaceful conduct of the exercise.
In a statement by his spokesperson Mamman Mohammed in Abuja on Friday, Buni said adequate arrangement have been put in place for the success of the congress.
“As stakeholders of the party, we have a great responsibility to make the ward congress in all the participating states.
“We should endeavor to place the party and members’ interest above personal interests.
“We have come a long way repositioning the party, we have reconciled many groups and individuals, we must not allow personal interests in this election to divide us and draw us back,” he said.
