Major General Hassan Ahmed, a director at the Nigerian Army Headquarters in Abuja, has been killed.
General Ahmed was a Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army.
The General was attacked by gunmen around Abaji area in Abuja while returning from Okene.
Daily Post reports that his sister was abducted by the gunmen.
“They opened fire on his vehicle, and he died instantly. The driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, so they took the sister away”, a family source said.
The military authorities were yet to speak on General Ahmed’s death.
