President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the Senate to consider and approve N895 billion as Supplementary Budget.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan disclosed this on Tuesday when he read Buhari’s letter of request on the floor at plenary.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) had penultimate week approved a draft 2021 Supplementary Budget of N770.60 billion for the acquisition of defense equipment.
Some part of the budget is also expected to fund the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines and other health-related needs.
