The Emir of Zazzau, Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, says depsite several security formations and military training schools within the emirate his people are not feeling safe.
The Emir said this on Monday when he received a delegation of Security Heads led by Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
He said his people were having sleepless nights due to abductions going on within Zaria and environs.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE reports that 12 people were kidnapped in bandits attacks on Kofar Gayan and Kofar Kona areas of Zaria, Kaduna State, on Sunday. These came two days after the gunmen killed a studens and abducted two and eight lecturers of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria.
The Emir said the present insecurity in his dorman unacceptable and urged the government to take action.
Earlier, the commisoner said the delegation were in the Palace for confidence-building and to commiserate with the emirate over the unfortunate incident at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic and neighboring communities.
Aruwan said government was doing everything possible to protect the entire state.
