Police operatives on Saturday tear-gassed some June 12 protesters in the federal capital territory (FCT).
The protesters who held placards at Unity Fountain were chanting “Buhari must go”, “say no to injustice”, amongst others.
Police operatives on reaching fired tear gas canisters, thereby causing the protesters to scamper in different directions for safety.
The protesters were leveraging on the occasion of June 12 Democracy Day to express their grievances against bad governance under the present administration.
