The All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Membership Registration and Revalidation Appeal Committee has submitted its report to the Chairman Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.
The report was presented by the secretary to the committee and former acting national chairman, Chief Victor Giadom.
Giadom said his committee encountered a lot of challenges in the course of its assignment in Rivers, Kwara, Imo and Ogun states.
While commending the party for embarking on the exercise, he said the gesture gave members a true sense of belonging.
“Most of the complaints forwarded to the committee were minor issues however, there is the need to look into the issues raised in Kwara, Ogun, Imo, and Rivers states,” he noted.
Responding, Buni promised that the party would look at all issues and recommendations made by the committee with a view to addressing them.
“We all have a responsibility in rebuilding and repositioning this party to remain Nigeria’s leading political party,” he said.
