The deputy vice-chancellor of Anchor University, Professor Johnson Fatokun, has been abducted by along Akwanga – Keffi highway.
The university is owned by Deeper Life Christian Ministry.
Fatokun was kidnapped on Monday around 9 pm, while travelling from Jos to Keffi in Nasarawa state, NAN reports.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Nasarawa, Ranham Nansel, told newsmen that Fatokun, a professor, was attacked at Kurmi Shinkafa village in Kokona local government area (LGA) and taken to an undisclosed location.
A family member said the abductors later called and demanded the sum of N20 million ransom for the release of the professor.
