The inaugural flight of Nigerian intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia would take off on May 6, not May 6 as earlier announced.
This was revealed by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on Thursday.
The 2025 inaugural flight, according to the new NAHCON 2025 pilgrims airlift schedule sighted by 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE, would take place in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state.
The commission has earlier planned to conduct the 2025 inaugural flight from Lagos State.
This means that Nigeria has 22 days to transport all its pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
About 50,000 Nigerians are expected to perform this year’s holy pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
According to the pilgrims movement calendar released by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), the first batch of 2025 Hajj pilgrims would arrive the holy land on April 29, 2025.
Also, the last batch of the pilgrims contingents would arrive the country on May 31, 2025.
