The Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Nigerian activist, Hussaini Abdu, on his appointment as the Director of the Pan-African and New Power Advocacy Office and Representative to the African Union.
Until this appointment, Mr. Abdu was the Country Director of Plan International in Nigeria.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement personally signed by Prof. Gwarzo and released to newsmen in Kano, Nigeria on Wednesday.
He said the new appointment of Mr. Abdu by Save the Children International, is well-deserved in view of his wealth of experience and track records of service.
“I have no inkling of doubt that Mr. Abdu would deliver on his mandate in view of his years of experience leading governance, social justice, and humanitarian initiatives as a Country Director at CARE Nigeria, ActionAid, and Plan International,” Prof. Gwarzo said.
He said, “With the new appointment, Mr. Abdu would now focus on advancing policies that protect and empower children across African continent,”
Prof . Gwarzo prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and give Mr. Audu the wisdom to work for the well-being of vulnerable children of Africa.
