No fewer than 40 persons were feared kidnapped last night in Jibia town, Katsina State during Ramadan Tahajjud prayers.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE gathered that the gunmen stormed a mosque located at Kwata area after midnight when the congregation was observing the prayers and whisked them away.
Most of those taken are married and single women and children who attended the prayer session.
Our sources say the gunmen invaded the mosque on motorcycles and whisked the worshippers away to a nearby forest.
There was commotion during the attack as people ran for safety.
