The Nigerian Army on Sunday confirmed the arrest of some Boko Haram members during a raided of some houses at Filin Lazio in Hotoro Area of Kano municipal.
The spokesperson of 3rd Brigade Nigerian Army, Capt. Njoko Irabor confirmed the arrest on Sunday.
Although, sources in the area had put the number of suspects arrested at 10, Irabor couldnt not give exact number of the suspects.
“Yes, the operation has been carried out in the area and it will be a continuous exercise,” Irabor said,
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE reports that the suspects were arrested on Saturday in a mosque and houses at Filin Lazio in Hotoro area of Kano metropolis, belonging to some men that fled Boko haram insurgency in Borno State.
It was gathered that the soldiers took away some unidentified items from the scene of th raid.
Irabor promised to avail journalists detail and number of suspect arrested during the operation at a later time.
