A livestock farmer, Dakup Ntiems Pangkal, has been killed and his pregnant wife knocked down by bandits in Mikang council area of Plateau state.
A source told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that the assailants stormed Pangkal’s house at about 1am on April 28, and demanded he came out
He said the gunmen broke into the house when he refused and dragged him outside the compound where he was shot dead.
The source said the assailants hit Pangkal’s wife, who he said was heavily pregnant, on the head and left her unconscious.
He said the woman was taken to the hospital after the gunmen had left, adding that she had regained consciousness.
State Police spokesperson, Gabriel Uba confirmed the incident.
