The National Chairman of the Atiku Support Group, Alkhasim Ahmad Dila has told the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) Abuja, Nyesom Wike that he cannot stop the former Vice President from contesting the 2027 presidential election in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Dila made the statement in Kano in response to Wike’s recent statement against Atiku.
Dila said Wike was in no position to decide who picks the PDP presidential ticket, adding that the party will soon do away with Wike and his ilks because they are nothing but a political virus.
“We are aware that Wike is playing the scripts of APC, but let us assure him that he will fail. We are also aware that his mission in APC is to disrupt PDP’s sanity. Let the truth be told, Wike is in no position to decide who bears PDP’s Presidential flag, Wike and his allies are nothing but viruses,” he said.
The Chairman said Wike’s plan will fail as the PDP is on the verge of regaining its glory by ending its internal crisis.
The group also draws the attention of other PDP members to disassociate themselves with Wike’s plans as it is vividly clear that his plans will surely not work.
