Two students of Calvary International Ministry (CAPRO) in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau State, when kidnappers invaded the school Wednesday night.
The spokesperson of the Plateau Police Command, Gabriel Ubah, confirmed the incident.
CAPRO is an international interdenominational Mission Agency with over 700 missionaries from 26 countries operating in 35 countries in North and sub-Saharan Africa.
A resident of the area told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that the gunmen invaded the school at about 11:30 pm when the students were already asleep and attempted to abduct several of them.
He said one of the abducted students later escaped during a gun battle between the kidnappers and security personnel.
The school management is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
