The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has bought petrol from Dangote Refinery at N898 per litre.
This was revealed by the spokesperson of NNPC, Olufemi Soneye, in an interview with Daily Trust on Sunday.
He said, “For this initial loading, the price from the refinery was N898 per litre.”
He said, “The claim that we purchased it at N760 per liter is incorrect.“
He said over 70 trucks had been loaded with the petrol so far.
NNPC had on Saturday deployed about 300 trucks to the Dangote Refinery in Lagos ahead of loading on Sunday.
