Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai (Yobe South, APC) has provided relief support to flood victims in five wards of Potiskum and Nangere local government areas of Yobe state.
The affected wards are Nangere, Chukuriwa, Dogonini, Yerimaram, and Barebari-Bauya-Lailai ward.
Senator Bomai, represented by Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed (Ibbiyo), donated N20 million, 500 wrappers, 1,000 blankets and 1,000 children’s clothes to the flood victims.
In his remarks, the senator sympathized with the flood victims and admonished them to consider what had happened to them as a natural disaster but not the liking of anyone.
He said, ”It is sad that the floods have caused immense suffering to you and our hearts go to each one of you for this calamity and said the gesture from Senator Bomai exhibits his kindness and concern as a true representative of his people.”
