MTN Nigeria offices have resumed operations across the country after a nationwide shutdown on Tuesday over vandalism.
The shutting down of the outlets follows the nationwide outrage by its subscribers over the barring of their lines last weekend.
The telecommunications company in a message to subscribers on Tuesday said: “Yello customer, please be informed that our shops nationwide will be closed today, 30th July 2024.”
Thousands of subscribers besieged MTN offices across the country on Monday to reactivate their barred lines and in one video which went viral online, angry subscribers were seen destroying a perimeter fence outside the MTN office.
However, it was learnt that the company reopened its connect stores on Wednesday.
