Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly loyal to the Governor Siminalayi and Minister of the federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike will sit at different locations in Port Harcourt, the state capital on Monday.
The pro-Fubara lawmakers led by Victor Oko-Jumbo announced on Sunday through a letter by the Clerk, Dr G. M Gillis-West, invited a new commissioner-nominee, Emmanuel Frank-Fubara, to appear before it on Monday for screening and confirmation.
Meanwhile, the -led House loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike group led by Martin Amaewhule, will also hold a plenary on Monday.
The pro-Fubara group will sit in an improvised Hallowed Chamber in the Government House, Port Harcourt, while the pro-Wike legislators, whose agenda was not revealed, will sit at the State Assembly official quarters on Aba Road, also in Port Harcourt.
Both factions will sit by 10 am Monday.
The Amaewhule-led lawmakers will sit following the Court of Appeal judgment reinstating them as members of the House.
The fate of the 27 lawmakers is before the court for determination.
