The Kogi State Government, in partnership with the World Bank, has commenced the Community Revolving Fund (CRF) loan disbursement under the ACReSAL project.
Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media to the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Shehu Ahmed, disclosed this on Wednesday, saying the scheme will address the challenges of climate change and support community agricultural efforts.
He quoted Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, as expressing the state government’s commitment to agricultural development, adding that within five months, the state government has implemented various initiatives to enhance agricultural practices, including the provision of agricultural inputs, training, and capacity building for farmers.

The CFR, according to the statement, was designed to support the agricultural endeavors of the citizens and improve their livelihoods.
“He promised that the loan would boost agricultural practices in the catchment areas, leading to increased food production and security,” Ahmed said.
