Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has empathised with President Bola Tinubu over the minor slip he had during the Democracy Day Parade at the Eagle Square Abuja on Wednesday.
Reacting to the development in a post on his X handle, Atiku sent his well wishes to the president.
“I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, #officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day.
“I do hope that all is well with him.”
Tinubu lost his footing momentarily as he was about to step into the vehicle as he approached the vehicle when he arrived at the venue of the 2024 Democracy Day.
But he quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings.
