President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on the occasion of Democracy Day at 7:00 am on June 12.
The president’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, urged television, radio, and other electronic media outlets to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
Activities of the day had already started from Tuesday, June 11, with a symposium at the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, Abuja, at 9 am, followed by a youth conference at Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja, at 6:00pm.
On Wednesday, June 12, a grand parade at the Eagle Square, Abuja, will hold as well as a dinner at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, at 6:00pm.
Only accredited Presidential Villa correspondents will be granted access to cover the events held at the Presidential Villa.
