The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended their nationwide indefinite strike.
The suspension is for five days only.
The organized labour revealed this on Tuesday after a joint extraordinary National Executive Council meeting of the unions.
The organized Labour had shut down banks, schools, government offices, among others after the Federal Government failed to accede to its demand to grant it the N494,000 minimum wage.
The federal government officials and the labour leaders met at the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation Monday night and agreed to continue negotiation for next one week to reach acceptable minimum wage figure.
