The exchange rate for customs duty collection has risen to N1502.1/$.
This is according to the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) portal for trade.
The rate is the highest in seven weeks.
The rate rose from N1457/$ to the current rate over a two-day period.
The recent increase in the exchange rate for duties collection by the NCS has been linked to the prevailing rate in the foreign exchange market, with the naira closing at N1520/$ on the official NAFEM window.
Over the past week, the Naira has witnessed significant decline, dropping by about 11 per cent in the official market.
