Fire has razed down part of the residence of Senator Ibrahim Shekarau located at Mundubawa in Kano city.
Spokesperson of Malam Shekarau Sule Ya’u Sule said the fire started from the inner kitchen of the house which is at the ground floor of the mansion.
“We thank God that the fire only affected one of Malam Ibrahim Shekarau’s living rooms and already men of the State Fire Service have successfully put off the fire.,” he stressed.
Spokesperson for Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Abdullahi, who was still at the scene of the fire disaster, said he could not comment much on anything that got to do with the inferno at the moment “because we are still trying to make sure the fire does not spread to other places.”
