The Editor-in-Chief of 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE, Malam Mahmud Jega has said the annual roundtable being organized by his organisation was its way of contributing to national discourse.
He said this during the one-day Roundtable held at the Ladi Kwali Hall of the Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja on Thursday.
While appreciating the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima for graciously agreeing to serve as the guest speaker for today’s event, Jega recalled that Vice President chaired the first roundtable held in 2022.
The Editor-In-Chief said there was no better person to speak on the topic of today’s round table which is Tinubu Administration’s Economic and Social Agenda: How it Will Transform Nigeria than the Vice President considering that the VP chaired the National Economic Council among his other economic responsibilities in this administration.
Jega also thanked the Chairman, Board of Directors of the Federal Ministry of Finance Incorporated, Dr. Shamsuddeen Usman who was the Minister of Finance during the Jonathan administration, for agreeing to chair today’s occasion as well as the Minister of Information, Alhaji Mohammed Idris; Political Adviser to the President, Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed, among others.
