The federal government has granted exclusive rights to aviation consulting firm, Messrs NAEBI Dynamic Concepts Limited, to collect all helicopter landing levies across the country.
Minister of aviation and aerospace development, Festus Keyamo, said the levy will be collected at all aerodromes, helipads, airstrips, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, floating storage and offloading (FSO) units, and oil platforms in the country.
He urged stakeholders to comply with the mandate and grant total access to the firm for the levy collection which is effective immediately.
The minister warned that non-compliance with the directive will constitute a breach of the mandate and be met with appropriate sanction.
