A nine-year-old girl has been killed by suspected ritualist in Onireke area of Offa local government area of Kwara State.
The girl was said to be butchered and buried with a N1,000 note.
Spokesperson of the state Police Command, Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed the incident said asuspect has been arrested in connection to the incident, which he said happened on Saturday.
He said, the suspect, Alade James, of Alawe compound in Offa Town, had confessed “to the killing for money making ritual.”
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE gathered that the suspect ran out of luck after some residents got wind of the incident and alerted the police.
Police spokesperson said the suspect will be charged to court after the completion of investigation.
