Nine people have been killed and four injured in an attack on Pinau community in Wase local government area of Plateau State.
Spokesperson of the state police command, Ubah Ogaba, disclosed this in a statement.
Ogaba, however, said eight suspects have been arrested after the incident that occurred on Sunday evening.
He said the police also recovered 12 motorcycles from the suspects, adding that effort was on to arrest other fleeing members of the gang.
Ogaba said security has been beefed up in the area to prevent escalation of violence and break down of law and order.
