Five people have been abducted when bandits invaded Baure village under Unguwan Lalle ward in Sabon Birni local government area of Sokoto state.
The incident occured barely 72 hours after the miscreants burnt 23 passengers to death along Sabon birni-Isa road.
The bandits were said to have stormed the village around 5:30pm on Wednesday, and operated for hours unchecked.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE gathered that among the abductees were a businessman, Alhaji Lawali Unguwan Lalle and his driver, Musa.
Others were Alhaji Audu Lajinge and another driver.
The state Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
