Six members of the Anambra State House of Assembly have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The lawmakers include Arthur Chiekwu, representing Idemmih North, Edward Ibuzo, representing Onisha North 2, Nonso Okafor, representing Nnewi North, Timothy Ifedioramma, representing Njikoka 1, Cater D. N Umeoduagu, representing Aguata 1 and Lawrence Ezeudu, representing Dumekofia.
They were formally received at the Imo Governor’s Lodge in Abuja by the chairman APC caretaker committee and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni.
Buni was accompanied by Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos; Hope Uzodinma, Imo; Yahaya Bello, Kogi and Adegboyega Oyetola, Osun states.
