Five women and a three-month-old baby have been kidnapped at Anguwar Epe in Tungan-Maje, a suburb of Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A resident of the area said the incident happened at about 10pm Tuesday night.
He said the kidnappers came through the big mountain behind the Epe village positioned themselves before they struck and took away the victims.
The source said the kidnappars had left the village before the arrival of securing operatives.
The FCT police Command is yet to issue statement on the incident.
