The trial of a 42-year-old man, accused of attacking a gay bar in Oslo has begun in the Norwegian capital.
The 42-year-old man was charged with serious terrorism offences.
He was accused of shooting dead two people, and wounding nine others in Oslo on June 25, 2022, shortly before a planned Pride parade.
Many more people were injured in the chaos that followed the attack.
The suspected attacker was overpowered by witnesses and was subsequently arrested by the police.
The Norwegian Secret Service had treated the incident as an Islamist terrorist attack.
Four other people were accused of aiding and abetting terrorism in the case.
However, the investigations against them had not yet been finalized.
The main defendant, a Norwegian with an Iranian family background, denied the accusations.
