Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola says 30,000 vulnerable citizens will benefit from the states COVID-19 food support scheme monthly.
He said this on Thursday flagged off of the scheme at the open field of the state local government service commission in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.
Oyetola said the scheme would mitigate the excruciating impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on vulnerable citizens in the State.
He said the scheme has become necessary because available statistics point to the fact that many jobs have been lost with many sources of livelihoods significantly threatened as a result of the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
Oyetola said the scheme will begin this month and will run till the end of the life of this Administration.
